Three Junior Miners To Watch As The Copper Price Strengthens

Copper went through US$10,000 the other day, and investors are increasingly turning to the junior copper miners to provide exposure with that extra bit of upside zing.

Formerly known as Castillo Copper, New Frontier is a company perfectly positioned for the future. It has rare earths for all your electric vehicle, magnet and windmill needs. And it has copper. Both projects are in Australia, but the copper, in a well-established, indeed famous mining jurisdiction, is more advanced.

There’s already an established JORC resource, the grades thus far look good, and recent test results demonstrate the viability of a potential processing route via a nearby plant. There’s also plenty of exploration upside, and lots of targets have already been identified for future attention.
