Mears Group – I Have Been Asked If It Is Time To Sell Holdings?
My view is that there is still more to go for.
Yesterday morning, this leading provider of services to the Housing sector in the UK announced its results to end-December 2024.
Mears Group (LON:MER) reported a 4% increase in its revenues to £1,132.5m (£1,089.3m), while its pre-tax profits were 37% better at £64.1m (£46.9m), generating its diluted earnings per share some 53% higher at 48.9p (31.9p) per share, easily covering its 23% improved dividend to 16.0p (13.0p).
Impressively, the group has boosted its Order Book by 20% to £3.0bn (£2.5bn), through both contract extensions and new wins.
